    Sip N Spin &
    Try It Classes

These classes are a fully instructed, fun, 2-hour introduction to the basic techniques on the wheel. Great for beginners or as a refresher. A smaller investment in finding out if the wheel is something you would like to make a hobby. This class only focuses on wet clay on the pottery wheel. We do all the prep and the cleanup!

Participants can choose one piece to be trimmed and fired by the studio. These can be picked up 3-4 weeks after class.

No experience is required, all levels of experience welcome! These are the same exact class. One is less boozy. Sip N’Spin classes are 21+ and folks can BYOB if they would like.

Classes are available for registration 4 weeks in advance.

Check out our events page for more one time events/projects.

6- Week Wheel Series (All Levels)

A series class is perfect for folks wanting to learn all the steps of creating pottery on the wheel from prep to glaze firing.

With small class sizes (8-10) these sessions can be catered to anyone’s skill level. Beginners are welcome, no experience required. Folks with experience will also find these classes a perfect return or continuation of growing their skills. Each individual will be able to grow their skills based on their experience. Pottery is a journey that will often take many sessions to get to a place of independent learning. Classes are 3-hours, once a week. Clay is unlimited, practice time is an additional charge and time limited.

    6- Week Continuing Wheel

    Altering Forms on the Wheel

Learn to alter your thrown pieces. This class is for people who can successfully throw a bowl or cylinder on the wheel. Join your wheel skills with hand-building skills and learn to level up your pieces.

This class will push your creativity and view the wheel as a tool to start a piece, but find new ways to trim, alter, and finish the pieces. Get rid of the circular mindset on the wheel and learn how to combine hand-building skills with your wheel work.

Participants will purchase a bag of clay and can purchase more if/when needed. All clay is purchased in the studio, no outside clays allowed. Practice time is free and unlimited since you are using your own clay.

This series is for folks who already know the basics. There will be no intro style demos to wedging, throwing, or trimming, we will work on furthering our skills and decoration techniques. Learning surface design and texture while exploring new forms. Students must come in with base knowledge of wheel work, but this is not an intermediate class. Anyone who has had at least one series class and feels like they no longer need basic demonstrations should sign up for this class.

    Tuesdays 6:30-9:30 pm
