Drop-In Hand-building afternoons
We have created a series of afternoon drop-in classes for folks to just come in and create. We will have a particular hand-building technique that we are featuring and the instructor will have a few ideas/projects available using the technique of the week. Participants will choose which project they make after receiving basic instruction and participants can build and construct.
Each week the technique will be specific (in the title) and all students will stick to that technique and the clay prepared. The instructor is there with you to help you succeed and all instruction, materials, tools, firing, and glazing is included in the cost.
Participants will choose one of our 9 studio glazes and our staff will fire and glaze the pieces created during your three hour class. Projects are limited in size and complexity based on time and amount of clay, you will be expected to complete your project in the time allotted and stick to the amount of clay provided.
There is no additional studio time included or available for purchase with these drop-in classes. These are built as one time classes to come and get your hands in clay when you cannot commit to an entire series. This class is great for beginners and experienced potters alike.
All clay, tools and instruction provided.
